The highly-anticipated sequel was also added to Xbox’s wishlist this week.

The upcoming release of “Hollow Knight: Silksong” seems closer as it has been officially classified in South Korea, hinting at potential news regarding the game’s launch date.

Notably, a Resetera user spotted the classification, which was done back in February, rating the game suitable for players aged 12 and above.

This discovery came to light after Microsoft recently introduced a store page for “Hollow Knight: Silksong” on Xbox, allowing players to add it to their wishlists.

Xbox president Sarah Bond shared this news on social media, confirming that the title will be accessible on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Initially announced in February 2019, “Hollow Knight: Silksong” is set to be released for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Last May, the developers, Team Cherry, postponed the game’s release from the initially planned first half of 2023 to an unspecified time frame.

According to the developers, “Silksong” will introduce a brand new kingdom, featuring over 150 unique enemies, along with a Silk Soul mode, offering a challenging gameplay experience that significantly alters the game after the initial playthrough.

In “Silksong,” players take on the role of Hornet, described as the “princess-protector of Hallownest,” as they embark on an adventure through a kingdom governed by silk and song.
