Larian, known for Baldur’s Gate 3, is considering early access for its next project to engage with players and shape development based on feedback. According to Michael Douse, Larian’s publishing director, early access fosters continuous dialogue with players and reduces the risk of launching a game blindly.

However, Douse acknowledges the challenges and advises against early access for those unprepared to maintain a live service model.
