Swiss mobile game publisher Miniclip has acquired UK-based studio FuturLab, known for its successful simulation game PowerWash Simulator. The acquisition occurred in March, though financial terms were not disclosed. FuturLab will maintain its creative independence under Miniclip, with Kirsty Rigden continuing as CEO.

FuturLab, founded in 2003, originally developed Flash games before moving to PlayStation titles for PS Vita. Its biggest success, PowerWash Simulator, sold over 3 million copies within two months of its July 2022 launch.
